Spray Starch
Spray-Bond is specially modified starch that is showered on paper to improve ply-bond, IGT and printability of paper. Spray-bond has specific reactive group through specific reaction to provide better paper properties during paper making process.
APPLICATION
Shower application at wire paper of duplex, kraft, writing and other paper production.
● Improved Strength and Printability: Strategic application of spray starch can enhance the surface strength of paper, making it more resistant to scuffing and tearing. Additionally, it can improve printability by providing a smoother surface for ink adhesion, leading to sharper and more vibrant prints.
● Reduced Cost-Effectiveness: Compared to traditional size press application, spray starch can offer a more cost-effective solution. By targeting specific areas, it minimizes the amount of size used, reducing overall material consumption.
● Flexibility in Application: Spray starch offers greater flexibility in the papermaking process. It can be applied at different stages, allowing for customization based on the desired outcome.

The Smart Starch Solution for Every Industry.
Spray starch is a versatile starch-based solution used in paper, textile, food, and other industries.
In the paper industry, it is primarily used for ply-bond applications, improving surface strength and printability.
Enhances surface sizing, making the paper more resistant to scuffing and tearing.
Improves printability by creating a smoother surface for ink adhesion.
Increases ply-bond strength, improving the overall durability of multi-layered paper.
Unlike traditional size press applications, spray starch is directly sprayed on the wire part for better absorption and targeted application.
This method reduces material wastage and allows for more efficient use of starch.
More localized application, reducing unnecessary starch consumption.
Greater flexibility in papermaking, as it can be applied at different stages.
More cost-effective than size press application.
